The media maven has worked in front of the camera and behind-the-scenes in a newsroom, field production, video editing, and writing. Growing up, Ashley’s father would always play hip-hop and R&B around the house. Ashley grew a strong liking for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of 10. She then began her on-air career as a radio host at the City College of New York.
