CASH Gets Personal on New EP 'Son of Substance'

Cash drops off new heat with Son Of Substance EP.

As days get colder, the rap game continues to stay busy with releasing new heat. Spanish Harlem's own Cash (Chinese and Spanish Heritage) is ending 2017 on a high note. The up and coming rapper recently released his new EP Son of Substance for his fans and hip-hop heads.

Packaged into 6 tracks, production features Chano, Dave Van Dough, and DJ Pain 1. Each song is closely tied with specific people from Cash's life, making it his audio snapshot. He reflects back on traumatic memories, growing up poor, and his blessings. One blessing that changed his life for the better was his son. His son is shown on the cover art and also featured on track three, "No Heroes."

Noticed for its rhyme schemes, gritty narratives, and jazz samples, 'Son of Substance' is a project you should add on your playlist for 2018. On "Coming or Going," Cash confidently explains what he went through and why he's here to stay in the rap game. "It's raining its pouring/what a time to get rich/Use protection, wear a magnum cause I hear life is a bitch," raps Cash. Cash is quite not done with releasing new music this year. Later on this New Year Eve's evening, he's dropping a new song entitled "Foreign Exchange" featuring Dub Aura via soundcloud.

But for now, Stream Son of Substance below and let us know what you think!
